(WASHINGTON, DC) The Mayor's Office of Partnerships and Grants Development (OPGD) released a compilation of statistical information from across the Government of the District of Columbia. The new tool can be used by grant writers in government and community organizations to clearly establish the need for the District to receive federal and foundation grants.
The compilation includes links to statistical information from the DC Office of Planning, the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, the Department of Health, and the Department of Employment Services. Highlights include results by ward and tract from the 2000 Census, as well as economic impact indicators from the events of the previous fall.
