News Release for Immediate Release October 19, 2004 Sixth Annual Public-Private Partnership Conference to Be Held in December The Mayor's Office of Partnerships and Grants Development, in partnership with the Washington Council of Agencies, announces its Sixth Annual Pubic-Private Partnership Conference to be held on Monday, December 13, 2004, at the new Washington Convention Center. This year's theme is "Embracing, Strengthening, and Sustaining Partnerships:  The Reality of It All."  The all-day conference, with a focus on cross-sector collaboration among various types of organizations, will include informational sessions on topics such as legislative changes affecting the nonprofit sector, conflict resolution in partnerships, human resource challenges, funder panels, and more.
