Foundation Research: Identifying Who Gives and Who Gets in the Washington Region November 7, 2006 The Mayor’s Office of Partnerships and Grants Development (OPGD) will host a nonprofit training session on foundation research. Katherine Jankowski, Research Director for GrantsDirect.com, will teach participants how to target and tailor their foundation research using the newly published Directory of the Washington Region's Leading 500 Foundations, as well as GrantsDirect.com, the online database providing the most current information available on the region's foundation community. OPGD's Grants Information Resource Center offers access to GrantsDirect.com, which now includes detailed profiles of more than 1,700 grantmakers headquartered in Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia, and more than 125,000 of their grant recipients.
